Anyone made one?

I saw a Youtube video last week; it showed the very simple layout for a
table made from 3/4" plywood sheet, and using a couple of pairs of folding
table legs. Aside from a couple of strips of extra ply for bracing, it's
mostly just a sheet of ply cut to suit.

I'm thinking of making one or two up, using the following legs:-

http://foldingtables.com.au/product/trestle-legs-sale/folding-table-legs/

From a quick measurement, a normal dining chair is around 500mm to the top
of the seat, and the poly-topped folding tables here seem to have a 740mm
leg height.

I'm thinking I'll use the 880mm leg heights, and I have a couple of new
sheets of FormPly in storage. A bit of cutting to shape with a jigsaw, and
I reckon we'd be good for a couple of sets of legs.

I see Bunnings sell a folding leg for around $40, but of course, the dont
do mail order, and I cant choose the leg height.

I wondered if anyone has made a portable shooting table themselves?

31mm of rain across most of the property last night. A drop in the bucket
compared to what we need, but enough to do some good. It might sparkle the
remaining stock up a little.

Only 15 roos pokked this arvo; something of a quiet afternoon...

Cheers,

Rod.

Yes I made mine using a triton portable super jaws vice and a chunck of
solid core door .

It breaks down into two pieces ( vice and top) , is heavy ,but very stable .
Now I have my chronograph it will get a lot more use '
I use an office chair with agas strut for a seat .I removed the back
and arms off it and put a 3" spacer under it to get the right hieght for
me .The gas strut gives a good amount of adjustment .
I can send pics if you want . Let me know
